It's actually a little complicated to do but it is possible to put an audio file in your blog. It's a lot like setting up a podcast and embedding it. Here a quick tutorial video I found that gives the step by step if you're interested.

Another recorder option that seems to be much simpler is RecordPad (http://www.nch.com.au/software/voxrec.html).
Also, Podomatic is another good site for organizing podcasts.
